A native of Southern California, ABC Journalist Rachel Scott recently made headlines for her confrontational exchange with Donald Trump at the NABJ conference. In response, he criticized her questions as nasty and hostile.

Rachel graduated from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Born on May 5, 1991, in Southern California, she began her career with internships at KTLA 5 News and CNN.
Later, she worked as a writer for KCBs and served as an Executive Producer at Trojan Vision Television and Annenberg TV News.
Then, she joined ABC News as a Production Associate in 2016 and has since risen through the ranks.
By 2019, she was a Washington-based Multi-Platform Reporter. Moreover, in 2020, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming an official White House correspondent.
Scott has received several prestigious awards, including a Peabody Award for her coverage of abortion on Nightline.
