Furthermore, she is also the co-founder of deep learning start-up Neurance. Her husband, James Emsley, also comes from the business and finance sector.

James is a Durham University graduate who is an enterprise sales manager at a reputed company based in London, UK. There are no further details about James Emslie in the media or public domain.

British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch invited the British couple on the ship as guests, along with 19 other people who were the high-tech firm’s colleagues and collaborators.

The family was enjoying their vacation on the luxurious yacht. Suddenly, the superyacht capsized off near Porticello, Sicily, after encountering a tornado-induced sea storm.

Charlotte fought the enormous storm to save her daughter, Sophie, from drowning even under the condition. She said,

“For two seconds, I lost the baby in the sea; then, I immediately held her again in the fury of the waves.“
